BUILDERS OF THE FUTURE
“Building & Developing Tomorrow's Construction Leaders”
This has been a very busy year for the construction industry. It is no secret that as the demand for new construction increases, so does the demand for skilled labor. For 29 years, Builders of the Future has been serving Nebraska’s construction industry through trade-specific educational opportunities for high school and community college students. To date, we have provided hands-on, builder mentored construction experience to well over 5,000 high school students. Currently, we help expose and assist in training 800 students per year in 39 Nebraska high schools to become new workers in our construction industry. As our industry grows, we are committed to supporting it by increasing the number of skilled workers available.

We need your support to help us do that.
Contributions, like yours, allow us to...

Increase the number of students and school programs resulting in more young Nebraskans excited for a career in construction trades
Train more High School Industrial Technology teachers to include hands-on experiences with builder-mentors through fully funded live construction projects at their school, experiencing construction trade techniques at an actual construction site, learning OSHA guidelines, and using modern tools and products not typically available in a classroom
Provide scholarships for dual-enrollment credits so students can get advanced training while still in HS and get into the industry sooner
Expand our recently launched Online Jobs/Worker Resource service
Fund the salary for our employees who implement all of our activity and growth and hopefully add another as we expand our footprint
Address the critical shortage of Industrial Technology teachers with scholarships for college students who want to teach Industrial Tech.
